Who are making the move?
Numerous organisations and prominent individuals are making the move from toxic and lock-in social media platforms to alternative platforms. Here are some examples of prominent organisations who have made official announcements on this. Many other organisations have simply left a “goodbye” message on X and other lock-in platforms, and joined alternative social media. Other organisations still maintain a presence on X and other lock-in platforms, but are building a presence in alternative social media with the aim of migrating over time.
